Situated at the top of the mountain, Lake Naomi is surrounded by some of the regions largest down hill ski slopes. With the perfection of snow making equipment, we are no longer solely dependent on Mother Nature for wonderful skiing conditions. Camelback Ski Area, Jack Frost, and Big Boulder are all within 15 minutes of our doorstep. Once known primarily as a summer resort, today Lake Naomi has become a multi-season vacation community. We are as active over President's weekend in the middle of February as we are on the Fourth of July.

In addition to the nearby downhill slopes, there are miles of cross country ski trails in Timber Trails and the adjoining state forest. At the Beaver Brook Recreation Center, more trails radiate out from a central point. The Center is used during ski weekends as a "Warm House" where hot drinks may be obtained.

Adjacent is a well groomed ice skating rink. While the lake offers a wide expanse for skating, many parent feel more comfortable knowing the depth of the rink is only a few inches. And, the irrigation system easily permits the ice to be resurfaced when necessary.
